Eligibility is determined by your GP or Psychiatrist and is based on the diagnosis you receive. Most conditions are included such as anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders and more. ​ Please make an appointment with your GP or Psychiatrist to determine your eligibility.

You will require a referral. Either a Mental Health Care Plan from a GP or a letter from your Psychiatrist prior to your appointment.

The referral will enable you to access a total of 10 sessions in a calendar year. The referral is valid for up to six sessions, after the sixth session you will need to see your doctor again to review the option of obtaining another referral for further sessions.

A valid referral with the correct paperwork is required before a Medicare rebate can be claimed. An online rebate may be completed at the time of your consultation or you can submit your receipt to Medicare.
